Before we talk about plans
Before we discuss specific Medicare Advantage or Part D plans, Medicare rules require us to agree on and record the topics we'll cover, called a Scope of Appointment. It's done in writing for in-person meetings or recorded on a phone call, and it can be done the same day.
The Scope of Appointment simply records which kinds of coverage you'd like to discuss. It doesn't sign you up for anything, and you're never obligated to enroll. Calls and video meetings about Medicare Advantage and Part D plans are recorded, as Medicare requires.
